Also ich verzichte auf Push, da obwohl suggeriert wird das die Nachrichten vom Server automatisch an das iPhone geschickt werden, muss doch ein Backchannel teilweise offengelassen werden, was auf die Akkulaufzeit geht. Genauso wie die neuen Notifications.

Naja… die Idee ist nicht schlecht, aber was macht man mit mehreren Google Mail Accounts? Die App kann nur mit einem Account umgehen und mehrfach installieren kann man sie auch nicht… Wer nur einen Account mit Push braucht, kann auch einen bei Yahoo aufmachen, da gibt es echten Push umsonst und der funktioniert sogar. Bis entweder Google Push selbst anbietet oder wenigsten Apple IMAP Idle unterstützt, ist das doch eher Gemurkse.
