The House of the Dead 3 – SEGA bringt Arcade-Horror-Shooter ins PlayStation Network

Alexander Trust, den 10. Januar 2012

Nun möchte SEGA noch in diesem Frühjahr The House of the Dead III in überarbeiteter Version mit HD-Grafiken und PlayStation-Move-Support ins PSN bringen.

Haruki Satomi, Senior Vice President im Bereich Digital Business bei SEGA America über The House of the Dead:

„The House of the Dead has always been one of SEGA’s most popular series, and over the years we have worked hard to bring that full arcade experience to console owners. The abilities of the PlayStation 3, as well as PlayStation Move, have let us get closer than ever before. The only thing these titles are missing is a need for quarters.“

The House of the Dead 3 bietet Spielelemente wie „rescue events“, bei denen man Geiseln beschützen muss, sowie ein Schuss- bzw. Treffer-Ranking.

Teil 4 kommt ebenfalls

SEGA plant darüber hinaus, auch den vierten Teil der Arcade-Horror-Shooter-Reihe, The House of the Dead 4, neu aufzulegen und ebenfalls noch im Frühjahr im PSN zu veröffentlichen. Dieser soll ebenfalls PlayStation-Move-Unterstützung mitbringen. Während für The House of the Dead 3 mit dem 7.
